Context
The task involves identifying and testing data analytics and artificial intelligence models using socio-economic and geo-spatial data. Design and prototype user interfaces for United Nations personnel to use the identified models. The online volunteer will collaborate with the Innovation Unit at the United Nations OICT. Please apply if you are interested in researching and prototyping innovative solutions in the fields of Geo-Spatial Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) for sustainable development. You will interact and collaborate with a global team of UN personnel to share insights and integrate feedback into your research and testing processes.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking dedicated online volunteer with a passion for technology and development.
Task description:
Evaluate and utilize software for innovation projects carried out by the United Nations and its partners. Engage in rapid tool testing, solution prototyping, and AI-assisted coding.
The fellow online volunteer will be expected to complete the following deliverable(s):
– Analyze user and system requirements.
– Develop data analytics and artificial intelligence models using provided data.
– Design and prototype user interfaces for United Nations personnel.
Required Skills and Experience
Strong background in web development, data science, and artificial intelligence, or a related field.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively in written and spoken English.
Commitment to sustainable development and ethical use of technology.
